The Transition: New 365

When I said my family and I were in a transition stage, it was for real! The next 7 days is a good snapshot of that. Let me briefly explain...

When we decided to rent our house out, my wife and I decided to rent it out for a year. After that year, we plan to move back into our house. We do have a financial goal and if we don't meet it then we'll talk and pray about what needs to be done. Well, good news. The plan is that in about 2 days, someone will be signing the contract to move into our house! We'll finally have renters. That's not all that will be happening in the next 7 days...

This Sunday, I'll be ordained as an elder in my church community! Crazy! I'm excited about this. I'll be serving in the areas of children's ministry, youth, children's sports ministry, music ministry and the dance ministry. No, I can't dance to save my life. But I'm looking forward to sharing ideas with the current team and helping them to display Christ in creative ways! Pretty awesome, right? That's not all that will be happening in the next 7 days...

On the Freedom Music Group side of things, I'll be having a meeting with our board to discuss the particulars of signing an in house producer to the label! Super excited about that. This has been a long time coming so I'm glad to see it finally happen.

There's a lot of stuff going on here in the Flowers' household. My wife and I are also expecting the newest addition to the family in about 7 weeks. Keep us in your prayers :) I'll keep you posted about how everything unfolds. This is my last "Transition" post. Thanks for reading!
